Doug Appleton

Doug Appleton serves as the General Counsel for SingleStore, Inc., overseeing legal, compliance, and governance matters for the enterprise software and AI company since June 2025. Concurrently, Doug holds the position of General Partner at Guesthouse Tahoe, which offers luxury accommodations in Lake Tahoe, specializing in an upscale experience for individual and group travelers. Doug's previous roles include General Counsel at HALO Precision Diagnostics, where a focus on AI-driven medical imaging diagnostic technology was paramount, and Co-Founder and CEO of SNYPR, which integrates technology with athletic practice. Doug has extensive legal experience from roles at NeuroSync, Easton-Bell Sports, Shutterfly, Marketwatch, Handspring, and SecuGen. Educational accomplishments include a BA in Organizational Behavior and Management from Brown University and a JD from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.
