Kevin Liu is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in cloud-based systems and large-scale data processing. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at SingleStore since April 2021, Kevin has previously held significant roles at Google from August 2010 to March 2021, where key contributions included leading the development of the Big Query data processing system, scaling messaging services for Allo and Duo, and enhancing the Chrome Sync service to support millions of users. Prior to Google, Kevin spent 13 years at Microsoft in various roles, including Senior Development Lead for the Mobile and Voice Service Platform. Kevin Liu holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis and has educational experience from Peking University.
