Rakesh Tikku

Rakesh Tikku has extensive experience in database performance engineering and architecture, currently serving in a position at SingleStore since December 2023. Previously, Rakesh held a long-term role as an architect at DB CAM Technologies Inc from February 2011 and worked as a solutions architect at Pure Storage from November 2018 to February 2023. Rakesh's career also includes a significant tenure as managing principal at DB Perf Inc from March 2006 to November 2018, and as group development manager focusing on applications performance at Oracle from July 1994 to March 2006, where engagement with Oracle Applications developers and customers helped resolve performance issues. Rakesh’s educational background includes a research scholarship in parallel computing from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a Master of Technology in computer engineering from the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute'.
