Ian Tan is currently serving as Assistant Vice President of Strategy & Corporate Development at Singlife with Aviva since December 2021. Prior experience includes roles as an Implementations & Pre-Sales Consultant at Shiji Group, where Ian specialized in hospitality systems, digital transformation, and change management. Ian has also worked as a Business Strategy Consultant for Growth-X Consulting and UOB-SMU Asian Enterprise Institute, focusing on market entry strategies and revenue model optimization for eCommerce platforms. As a Regional Client Services Consultant at Xn protel Systems Group Ltd, Ian led regional implementation projects and operational support strategies. Earlier career highlights include serving as Duty Manager at Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, managing a diverse team, and participating in an accelerated management program. Additionally, Ian was an Art Exhibition Guide for Hermès and holds multiple degrees, including an MBA from Singapore Management University and Peking University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Administration from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
