Ray is the Chairman of the Board of Singlife with Aviva.

Ray is a renowned international banker, business leader, and adviser. He was with Standard Chartered Bank for more than 28 years and served as CEO of Singapore from 2009 until 2014 and Regional CEO (Southeast Asia) from 2007 to 2012. He was also CEO of Americas, CEO of the United Arab Emirates, CEO of Indonesia, and CEO of Taiwan.

Ray was awarded the Distinguished Fellow by the Institute of Banking and Finance, Singapore, and is a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors. He is also an Associate of the Institute of Bankers in Scotland and is a full member of the Singapore Institute of Directors.

Ray was appointed an Independent Non-Executive Director to the Board of SPH REIT Management Pte Ltd in December 2021. He holds an MBA from Henley Management College.
