Soe Pyae Oo

Soe Pyae Oo has a diverse work experience spanning from 2004 to the present. Soe Pyae started their career as a Network Engineer at Traditional Land in 2004 and worked there until 2007. Soe Pyae then joined ACE Data Systems Ltd as a Senior Systems Engineer from 2008 to 2011, where they were responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of systems hardware and software.

From 2011 to 2019, Soe Pyae Oo worked at NTT Ltd., first as a Junior Network Security Analyst and then as the Shift Lead in the Security Operations Centre. In these roles, they were involved in monitoring security incidents, escalating threats, and ensuring timely response and resolution.

In 2019, Soe Pyae Oo moved to Aviva Singapore as a Senior Cyber Security Analyst. Soe Pyae served as the main Incident Response person for Aviva Asia's CISO team, providing technical and operational support. Soe Pyae also collaborated with multiple Security Operations Centers (SOC) as a point of contact person to investigate and respond to escalated cyber security incidents.

Currently, Soe Pyae Oo is employed at Singlife as the Vice President of Information Security. Soe Pyae'sresponsibilities include protecting the organization from cyber threats, developing and implementing a cyber threat intelligence strategy, assessing potential risks, and working with internal and external stakeholders.

Throughout their career, Soe Pyae Oo has demonstrated expertise in information security, incident management, and network engineering. Soe Pyae'sroles have involved collaborating with cross-functional teams, utilizing various security tools, and ensuring effective response to incidents.

Soe Pyae Oo's education history includes obtaining a Specialist Diploma in Network Security from Singapore Polytechnic in 2015-2016. Prior to that, they completed a BSc.Engg:(IT) degree at Dagon University from 2005-2008 and a Diploma in ICT at the University of Yangon from 2004-2005. Soe Pyae also earned a Dip in E.C in Electronics and Computing from the University of Yangon in 2003-2004. In addition to their formal education, Soe Pyae Oo has obtained various certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Foundation Level Threat intelligence Analyst, ITIL® v4 Foundation, Certified Algosec Security User, CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+), CompTIA Security Analytics Professional, CompTIA Linux+ (Powered by LPI), LPIC-1: Linux Administrator, CompTIA Security+ ce, Check Point Certified Security Administrator, GIAC Certified Incident Handler, Cisco Certified Network Associate, MCPA Certified Network Associate, and MCSE:Security.
