Gem Zhang

Gem Zhang has over 20 years of work experience. Gem began their career in 2001 as a Software Developer/Engineer for Huawei Technologies. In 2003, they moved to Motorola as a Software Developer, where they designed and developed the DRM engine for the smartphone platform. In 2006, they joined Irdeto as an Integration Support Engineer. Gem then moved to Nagra in 2008, where they held the roles of Team Leader, Project Manager, and Software Integration Support Engineer. In 2016, Gem moved to VisionVera as a Product Manager, where they planned, designed, and detailed product requirements for HD video/confcall systems and managed product development. Also in 2016, they joined UNION VOOLE TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD as a Senior Project Manager. In 2017, they moved to Cisco as a Technical Program Manager and in 2018 they joined Synamedia as a Lead Solutions Consultant. Currently, Gem is a Solutions Consultant at Singular, a role they have held since 2022.

Gem Zhang attended Northwestern Polytechnical University from 1995 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications. Gem then continued their studies at the same university, obtaining a Master's degree in Telecommunications in 2001. In December 2020, Gem Zhang obtained the Solution Architect Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
