Jovana is the Director of Developer Community at RisingWave Labs, where they leverage their extensive experience in community building within the tech sector. Previously, Jovana co-founded Equality, serving as Campaigns Director from 2015 to 2018, and worked as Program & Policy Coordinator at the Regional Center for Minorities from 2009 to 2014. They have also held roles at Plato as a Mentor Community Specialist and as a Community Manager at RisingWave prior to their current position. Jovana is a Thomas Reuters Changemaker Fellow and is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and a specialization in Women Studies at the University of Belgrade and the Center for Women's Studies, respectively.
