ZHI LIU

Zhi Liu began their work experience as a Software Engineer Intern at Microsoft in May 2016. They worked in this role until August 2016. In August 2021, Zhi joined RisingWave Labs as a Product Manager & Software Engineer. Their responsibilities included product management, conducting proof-of-concept with clients, and occasionally coding.

Zhi Liu attended Shanghai High School for their high school education. After completing high school, Zhi Liu enrolled in The Chinese University of Hong Kong. In 2017, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Math. Zhi Liu continued their studies at the same university and obtained an MPhil in Computer Science and Engineering in 2019. Although Zhi Liu pursued a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering, they did not complete the program and left it as a dropout in 2021.
