Barney Pell

Barney Pell is an accomplished technology leader with a focus on artificial intelligence and decision science. Currently serving as Chief Strategist, Chief Scientist, and Head of AI at Magic, Pell has played a pivotal role in transforming the company into a hybrid human-AI system. In addition to this role, Pell is a Venture Partner at Radical Ventures, a Founding Fellow at Creative Destruction Lab, and a Lecturer at Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Pell has also contributed to UCSF Health Hub as a Board Member and co-founded initiatives like Decision Theory and Singularity University, which educate leaders on exponentially accelerating technologies.
