David Staley

David Staley is an Associate Professor of History and Director of The Humanities Institute at The Ohio State University, where responsibilities include overseeing five academic centers and fostering research collaborations across disciplines. As the Founding Director of The Center for the Humanities in Practice, David leads outreach initiatives that partner with various organizations on translational humanities projects. Additional roles include Director of The Goldberg Center, where David has implemented technology-related educational programs, and columnist for ColumbusUnderground.com. David also serves as President of Columbus Futurists, a guest speaker at Singularity University, and has held various fellowships and leadership positions in educational and cultural organizations. David holds a PhD in History from The Ohio State University.
