Mao Yanagawa

Mao Yanagawa has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. They began their career in 2014 as an Animated Character Performer Trainer at Universal Studios Hollywood. In 2018, they transitioned to a role as a Junior Recruiter at TOP Group - a Japanese Recruiting Agency. They worked in that role for nearly 3 years before moving on to another recruiting agency, TOP Group, where they served as a Senior Recruiter from November 2021 to June 2022.

In February 2021, Yanagawa joined a confidential company as a Human Resources Specialist. In this role, they collaborated with specialists on labor laws to update company policies and worked closely with the recruiting team and hiring managers to create job advertisements and find suitable platforms to advertise open positions. They conducted phone screenings, coordinated with hiring managers, and arranged interviews with qualified candidates.

After their tenure as a Human Resources Specialist, Yanagawa returned to the recruiting industry as a Technical Talent Acquisition Partner at Singularity 6 in June 2022. They subsequently progressed to the position of Senior Technical Talent Acquisition Partner in September 2022 and then became the Talent Acquisition Lead in January 2023. Currently, Yanagawa is employed as the Manager of Talent Acquisition at Singularity 6 as of March 2023.

Mao Yanagawa's education history begins with their Bachelor of Arts in Theatre/Theater from the University of New Hampshire, which was obtained in 2009. They then pursued their Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre/Theater from the University of Central Oklahoma, completing it in 2010. Later, they pursued a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) in Acting from the New York Film Academy, completing it in 2013.

Aside from their formal education, Mao Yanagawa obtained additional certifications. In 2018, they became a Certified Trainer from the Lessac Institute. In 2023, they became a Founding Member of Gaming Professionals for Gender Equality, certified by Grapevine.
