Ryan Hansen

Ryan Hansen has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Executive Vice President of Operations at Sinopec Canada since April 2012. Hansen's previous roles at Sinopec include Vice President of Production & Facilities, Vice President of Development, and Development Manager for the North. Hansen also led a multi-disciplinary team focused on the Montney resource play in Northwest Alberta. Prior to Sinopec, Hansen worked at Encana Corporation from August 2004 to April 2012, where leadership included the Group Lead for the Speargrass (CBM) Development Team. Hansen's career began at Gemini Corporation, where positions included Facility Engineer and Development Engineer. Educational qualifications include a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary.
