Andrea Gardiner has over 18 years of experience in the technology sector, beginning in 2002 as an Angel Investor and Investor. In 2013, they joined Old Hundred as a Board Member and in 2014, they were appointed Non-Executive Director of Viostream. During their tenure at Viostream, they provided oversight of a $4m fundraising round and $3m follow on rounds. In 2015, Gardiner became Non Executive Director of Stone & Chalk and Founder, CEO and Chief Investment Officer of Jelix Ventures, where they invested in world class Australian tech startups with sector insiders. In 2016, they were appointed Non-Executive Director of tagSpace and in 2018, Non Executive Director of Sinorbis. In 2021, they joined Bitwise Agronomy as a Non Executive Director and SafeStack Academy as a Non Executive Director. Most recently, they were appointed Non-Executive Director of black.ai in 2022.
Andrea Gardiner has a diverse educational background. Andrea attended La Trobe University from 1979 to 1982, graduating with a Bachelor of Behavioural Science. Andrea then went on to the University of Melbourne, where they completed a Bachelor of Social Work (Post Grad) from 1982 to 1984. Gardiner then attended Middlesex University from 1990 to 1991, where they completed the Common Professional Examinations in Law. Andrea then attended the College of Law in London from 1991 to 1992, where they completed the Law Society Final Examinations. Finally, in 2014, they attended the Australian Institute of Company Directors, where they completed the Company Directors Course.
