Sverre Holøs

Sverre Holøs is a highly experienced professional with a focus on indoor environment research, moisture damage, and building airtightness. Currently serving as Chairperson at NORSK INNEMILJØORGANISASJON since April 2017 and as a Senior Research Scientist at SINTEF Community since September 2006, Sverre Holøs also held the position of Senior Scientist at SINTEF Byggforsk until May 2019. Prior to these roles, Sverre managed Holøs Bygg og Innemiljø, providing consultancy on moisture and indoor climate issues from January 2004 to November 2006. Sverre’s extensive background includes serving as Head of the Building and Indoor Department at Teknologisk Institutt and as a Consultant at Mycoteam, where responsibilities included laboratory management. Education includes a Cand. Scient. degree in Biology from the University of Oslo and additional training from Befalsskolen for Kystartilleriet and Kristelig gymnasium.
