Scott Halliday

Scott Halliday serves as Partner and Head of Family Law at Sintons LLP since October 2025, specializing in divorce, complex financial matters during separation, high-value pensions, business interests, rural family law, LGBT+ family law, and complex children law issues. Prior to this role, Scott held the position of Senior Associate Family Law Solicitor at Irwin Mitchell from July 2015 to September 2025 and co-founded the LGBT+ Diversity Group from June 2018 to January 2023. Additional experience includes co-founding the European Alliance for Human Rights in North Korea and serving as a guest lecturer at the University of York Law School. Scott's educational background includes a Master of Laws in International Human Rights Law & Practice and a First-Class Honours Bachelor of Laws from the University of York, along with studies at The University of Law and Seoul National University.
