Stuart Boyd

Stuart Boyd has extensive experience in the technology and management industry. Stuart began their career in 1981 as a Senior Engineer for Mitel Semiconductor, where they worked on integrated circuit fabrication techniques, process design and characterization, and yield improvement. In 1985, they became an Engineering Manager for Polaroid, where they designed, developed, and marketed digital imaging workflow products. In 1996, they joined Analog Devices Inc. as the Director of the Consumer Business Segment, where they were responsible for strategic marketing and regional business development. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as the Owner of their own consulting business, Northern Quadrant. During this time, they provided technology and management leadership to technology companies. In 2017, they joined SiOnyx as a Product Development Consultant, where they successfully developed and released a camera that is able to see, record stills and video in complete darkness. Finally, they are currently the Director of Project Management for SIONYX.

Stuart Boyd attended The University of Edinburgh from 1977 to 1980, where they earned a BSc in Electronics and Electrical Engineering. Stuart also attended Regent House School.
