Abdullah Tulek is a seasoned optical system designer with extensive experience in both industry and academia. Currently serving as Principal Optical System Designer at Sioux Technologies since January 2021, Abdullah specializes in passive optical system design for machine vision applications, including telecentric camera and LED illumination system designs. Prior to this role, Abdullah worked as an Electro-Optics Consultant from February 2019 to December 2020, providing technical solutions and project management services. Abdullah's experience also includes a tenure as a Laser Engineer at Aselsan, focusing on solid-state laser systems for defense applications, and as a Post Doctoral Associate at UNAM Institute of Materials Science and Nanotechnology, engaging in advanced optical research. Abdullah holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Boğaziçi University, as well as a Master's and a PhD in Physics from the University of Utah.
