Marnix Tas

Senior System Architect

Marnix Tas has extensive experience in system architecture and optics, currently serving as a Trainer in System Integration at TNO-ESI since 2024 and as a Senior System Architect at Sioux Technologies since January 2014. At Sioux Technologies, Marnix Tas has played key roles in developing advanced systems for Thermo Fisher Scientific and ASML, including the world's most sensitive EDX detector and optimizing wafer handling systems. Additionally, Marnix Tas has been a teacher in optics at Mikrocentrum since 2014, providing professional training in the field. Marnix Tas's earlier roles include system architect and optical designer at CCM Centre for Concepts in Mechatronics and work at ASML, contributing to various projects in wafer handling and optical systems. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Chemistry from Eindhoven University of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from Delft University of Technology.
