Amal Bourhrous

Amal Bourhrous is an experienced researcher and program coordinator with a strong background in political science and international relations. Currently serving as an Associate Researcher at SIPRI since April 2020, Amal has held various research roles in notable organizations, including Westminster Foundation for Democracy and the German Marshall Fund of the United States. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Political Science from Uppsala University and a Master's degree in International Security from Sciences Po. Additionally, Amal has contributed as a visiting junior researcher at the Center for Strategic Studies/University of Jordan and has held internships at the Dag Hammarskjöld Foundation and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation in Morocco.
