Mark Bromley

Mark Bromley is a highly experienced professional in international relations and arms control, currently serving as a Senior Researcher and Director of the Dual-Use and Arms Trade Control Programme at SIPRI since September 2003. Prior to this role, Mark was a Policy Analyst at the British American Security Information Council from 2001 to 2003. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in International Relations from Stockholm University, obtained between 2014 and 2022, a Master's degree in War Studies from King's College London (2002-2003), and a Bachelor's degree in Social and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge (1996-1999).
