Peter Rudd

Peter Rudd, PhD, is a Staff Applications Engineer at SirenOpt, with a background in materials science and extensive experience in semiconductor materials and device engineering. Rudd contributed as a writer for JACS Spotlights at the American Chemical Society, producing impactful summaries of newly published research. With a PhD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Rudd has developed expertise in material characterization and have actively participated in technology commercialization and teaching roles. Previous experience includes various research and teaching positions at Denison University and the University of California, San Diego, demonstrating a strong foundation in both theoretical and practical applications of chemistry and materials science.
