Steven Spencer is an accomplished and results-driven legal and compliance leader in the private funds industry. They served as Special Counsel at Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP from 1997 to 2007 and held various significant positions at Point72, including Managing Director, Legal, from 2007 to 2016. Currently, Steven is the Managing Director and General Counsel at Gemspring Capital, while also acting as Partner, Chief Legal Officer, and Chief Compliance Officer at Siris Capital Group since 2016. Steven earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from St. John's University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science (BS) from Cornell University ILR School.
