Lars Andersson

Lars Andersson has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Lars began their career at SBC SverigesBostadsrättcentrum AB as a Financial Accountant from 1982 to 1988. Lars then joined ABB Financial Services - ABB Credit and served as a Financial Controller from 1989 to 1993 and as a Financial Manager from 1993 to 1997. Lars then transitioned to Sirius International, where they held various roles, including Financial Manager from 1998 to 2000, VP and Chief Financial Officer from 2000 to 2015, and SVP and Chief Financial Officer from 2015 to 2019. Lars moved to SiriusPoint in 2019, where they served as SVP and Chief Financial Officer for the Global Reinsurance & International Specialty Segment until 2021. Currently, Lars is the SVP and Chief Financial Officer for the International Reinsurance division at SiriusPoint starting from 2021.

Lars Andersson completed their Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Economics from Stockholm University between 1985-1989. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the same university during 2000-2001.
