Anthony Shapella

Anthony Shapella serves as Group Chief Underwriting Officer and Deputy Chief Underwriting Officer at SiriusPoint, starting in September 2023. Prior to this role, Anthony held various positions at AIG from October 2012 to September 2023, including Head of Portfolio Analytics for General Insurance and Managing Director - Chief Risk Officer for Liability & Financial Lines. Anthony's earlier career includes work as a General Management Consultant and Financial Analyst at Towers Watson from February 2005 to October 2012 and as a Credit Analyst at Susquehanna Bank from June 2004 to February 2005. Anthony earned an MBA in Strategic Management from the Fox School of Business at Temple University and a BS in Business Administration/Finance from Mount St. Mary's University.
