Peter Gallagher is currently serving as a Reserving Actuary at SiriusPoint since January 2024. Prior to this role, Peter was a Senior Actuarial Associate and earlier an Actuarial Associate at PwC from September 2020 to January 2024. Peter's experience includes an actuarial internship at the Pension Protection Fund from July 2018 to July 2019, which involved a 13-month industrial placement with rotations in Financial Management and Risk & Modelling teams. Additionally, Peter completed a week-long internship at Direct Line Group in June 2017 as part of the Queen's City Scholarship Programme. Peter began the career journey at Benedicts of Belfast from October 2016 to March 2017 as bar staff. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Actuarial Science & Risk Management from Queen's University Belfast, earned in 2020.
