Stephen O'Connor

Stephen O'Connor has a diverse work experience in scientific roles. Stephen started their career in 2017 as a Junior Scientist at cosine measurement systems. Later that year, they joined ESA/ESTEC as a Materials Scientist, where they worked on a project focused on the effects of contamination on the performance of space optics and detectors. In 2020, they worked as a Dailies Operator at Cirrus Media Ireland. Currently, they hold the position of Instrumentation Scientist at SiriusXT, starting in March 2022.

Stephen O'Connor completed their education with a Master's Degree in Space Science & Technology from University College Dublin, where they studied from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematical Physics from Maynooth University, where they studied from 2012 to 2016.
