Michael Wang has a diverse work experience. Michael is the Co-Founder & CEO of Sirl.io, a company that specializes in indoor mapping technology. Prior to this, they worked as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at Columbia University, where they developed and taught a graduate level course on IoT. Michael also served as an Assistant Organizer at IoT Nation, organizing events related to the Internet of Things. Michael was the Co-Founder and Chief Engineer at FutureAir, and a PhD Candidate in Electrical Engineering at Columbia University, leading a team in designing intelligent optical network technologies. Michael also served as the President of the Columbia Graduate Consulting Club and Co-Founder of Picxie. Michael has held positions as a Visiting Scholar at Bell Laboratories and as the Technical Lead and Co-Founder of TravelTrot, where they developed a mobile travel app. Additionally, they co-founded and served as President of the Society for Entrepreneurship and Technology Innovations, organizing various entrepreneurship events.
