Randy Chen has over 30 years of work experience in various roles related to bioinformatics, information technology, and data management. Randy is currently serving as the Senior Director of Bioinformatics and China CIO at Sirnaomics, Inc. Prior to this, Randy held positions as the Head of Information Technology & Bioinformatics at Kunming BioMed International and the Director of Information Technology, Data Management & Bioinformatics at HD Biosciences Co., Ltd. Randy also worked at Allergan, Inc. as the R&D IT Lead and as a Senior Scientist/System Analyst. Additionally, Randy started their career as a Scientist at CoCensys. Throughout their career, they have led cross-functional teams, driven advancements in data management and software development, and championed the enhancement of IT capabilities to support business growth.
Randy Chen holds a Certificate in Bioinformatics from Stanford University (2004-2005) and a Certificate in Computational Genomics from Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (1998).
