John Hicks

John Hicks is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product management and engineering. Currently serving as the VP of Product at SISO Engineering since March 2025, John previously held the role of Senior Digital Product Manager at Ascend SC, overseeing product vision and strategy for the Track and Trace product line from April 2021 to March 2025. Prior to that, John worked at National Oilwell Varco as a Software Product Manager and Senior Software Engineer, where responsibilities included full lifecycle software development and serving as a subject matter expert on Amphion control software for projects in Russia, Dubai, and Canada. Earlier experience includes a position as a Product Development Engineer at Texas Instruments focusing on digital radio and infotainment, as well as a Research Engineer role at Syracuse Research Corporation involving electronic warfare and countermeasures. John holds an MBA from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at San Antonio, and a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
