Kellan McCarthy

Kellan McCarthy, MS, is an experienced engineering professional with a strong focus on automation consulting in the power plant industry. Currently serving as the CTO and Owner of SISO Engineering since January 2018, Kellan provides expertise in Mark VIe controls and hardware distribution for the gas turbine community. Prior to this role, Kellan was the LMS100 Aeroderivative Gas Turbine Controls Product Owner at General Electric from January 2013 to December 2017, leading a global team in various project stages, including design improvements and field support. Kellan's career began as a Controls Engineer at GE Power, where significant contributions included supporting LMS100 and LM6000 gas turbines, alongside participating in the Edison Engineering Development Program, which provided comprehensive exposure to multiple engineering areas. Kellan holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
