Roweida Bawab is an experienced educator currently serving as an IBDP ESS and MYP biology and integrated science teacher at the Swiss International School since August 2021. In addition to this role, Roweida has been involved with the International Baccalaureate since August 2017 as an IB ESS Examiner and a member of the ESS Curriculum review committee. Prior experience includes teaching IBDP biology and ESS at Makassed Houssam Eddine Hariri High School from September 2017 to August 2021 and holding the position of TeachSDG Ambassador with SDG Nederland from December 2018 to December 2019. Roweida's teaching career began at Makassed Houssam Eddine Hariri High School from September 2011 to June 2017, focusing on biology and chemistry. Roweida is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biotechnology at Qatar University, with a Master of Science in Biology from Beirut Arab University and a background in Plant Biology and Environment from Lebanese University.
