David Muus

David Muus has a diverse work experience in the legal field. David is currently working as Head of Legal Operations at Sisvel Group since November 2022. Prior to this, they held multiple roles at Sisvel Group, including Patent License Program Manager for Mobile Communications from June 2019 to November 2022, and Patent License Program Manager for LTE Patent Pool from January 2016 to February 2018. David also worked as Dep. Licensing Manager at Sisvel Group from January 2015 to January 2016.

Before joining Sisvel Group, David worked at KPN as IP Counsel from November 2012 to December 2014 and as Legal Counsel from July 2009 to November 2012. David also briefly worked as a Legal Counsel at Gemeente Amsterdam from May 2009 to June 2009.

David started their career as an Intern at NautaDutilh in January 2009. David also gained experience as an Advisor and later as President at Rechtswinkel Groningen from July 2006 to July 2007.

David Muus has a diverse education history. David obtained a Gymnasium degree in Economy and Society from Het Nieuwe Lyceum in 2002. Later, they earned an LLM degree in Law from the University of Groningen between 2002 and 2008. In 2009, they pursued further education in Patent Information Specialist at GO Opleidingen. David completed the Information Technology Law program at Grotius Academy from 2011 to 2012. Finally, they became a Certified Trademark Agent by completing the Trademarks and Design rights program at BBMM - Beroepsopleiding Benelux Merken - en Modellengemachtigden from 2012 to 2014.
