Adam St. John has a diverse work experience that spans from 2005 to the present. Adam started their career as a Graduate Student at Queen's University from September 2005 to December 2007. Adam then worked at Hatch as a Mechanical Engineer in Training in the Project Delivery Group from 2008 to 2011. During this time, they focused on coal gasification and worked on modeling and design improvements for mechanical grates and gearboxes. Adam also conducted a failure analysis and material selection study for a gasification unit. In 2012, Adam founded Sitata, a company that uses sophisticated software to monitor disease outbreaks and safety events for travelers. Adam developed productivity tools for travel professionals and ensured the safety of travelers by providing important event notifications.
Adam St. John completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at Queen's University from 2001 to 2005. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Mining Engineering at the same institution from 2005 to 2007.
