GIS Data Engineer at Site Technologies

Adam A. has a diverse work experience in the field of GIS. Adam started their career as a Surveyor at the City of Mississauga, where they were responsible for accurate measurements and managing survey data using ArcMap and AutoCAD. Later, Adam worked as a GIS Analyst at DataCapable, where they analyzed social media datasets to improve power outage response time and messaging for a utility company.

Adam then joined Loyola University Chicago as a Full-Stack GIS Developer, where they worked on the Solidarity Map project funded by the National Science Foundation. Adam also served as a GIS Specialist at Invenergy LLC, developing a custom web application using Esri JavaScript API and jQuery to create high-quality PDF maps.

At Cognizant, Adam worked as a GIS Developer, publishing and maintaining web services in the ArcGIS Enterprise Environment. Adam also served as an administrator for a large number of users and maintained and configured various applications like Web App Builder, Dashboards, and Story Map.

Currently, Adam is working as a GIS Data Engineer at Site Technologies.

Adam A. attended Conestoga College from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained an Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology. Then, from 2016 to 2018, they studied at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) and earned a Bachelor of Applied Technology in GIS (Geographic Information Science and Cartography).
