Alec Wagner

Alec Wagner is an experienced editorial and content marketing professional with a strong background in various editing and writing roles across multiple organizations. Currently, Alec serves as Editorial Director and Managing Editor for the SANS Analyst Program since October 2016, while also working as a Social Media Contractor for Sitecore. Additionally, Alec has been a Consulting Managing Editor for Tendo Communications and the owner of alecwagner.com, providing content marketing consultation services. Previous positions include Contributing Editor at Focus.com, Managing Editor and Deputy Managing Editor at InfoWorld, and Editor at San Francisco Frontiers Newsmagazine. A graduate of the University of Denver with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, Alec has been engaged in writing and editing since the early 1990s, showcasing strong expertise in project management and insight into enterprise IT.
