George Penkov

George Penkov is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and management. Currently serving as Software Engineering Manager at SiteGround Web Hosting Company since November 2022, George previously held the position of Chief Technology Officer at a Fintech Investment Platform from May 2021 to November 2022. George's career at SiteGround began in 2009 as a Software Developer, later advancing to Team Lead until 2021. Earlier in their career, George was the CEO of CSG Studio from May 2007 to November 2008. George holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Technical University Sofia, completed between 2003 and 2007, and attended PMG "Nikola Obreshkov" in Burgas from 1997 to 2003.
