Eric Wedepohl

Eric Wedepohl has been involved in the startup and SME community since 2011. In 2013, they began working as the Principal and Managing Director of Ascendent, a company that provides coaching, strategy, and business development services. In 2016, they joined Sydney Angels as an Angel investor, working with like-minded investors to give back to the startup ecosystem. In 2017, they became the Non Executive Director of My Best Gift and began investing and mentoring privately and with various syndicates. That same year, they also joined Sitemate as the Non Executive Director (Chairman). In 2018, they began working as a Business Mentor for the CSIRO On Accelerator Program for technology startups and the CSIRO Prime Programme, as well as a Builder for Venture Builders. In 2019, they became the Non Executive Director (alternate) of Hampr. Finally, in 2020, they joined Remarkable Tech as a Business Mentor.

Eric Wedepohl obtained a BSc. Hons in Geophysics from the University of the Witwatersrand between 1982 and 1985.
