Tom Newman

Head of Product at Sitenna

Tom Newman has a wealth of experience in corporate and product strategy. Tom has been in the industry since 2000, beginning their career at UBS Investment Bank as an Associate Director in Global Equity Research. In 2006, they moved to Orange, taking on the roles of Head of Strategy, Commercial Manager, and Pay Monthly Pricing Analyst. In 2011, they joined Everything Everywhere Ltd as Head of Corporate Strategy, and then moved to KPMG UK in 2014 as a TMT Strategy Consultant. In 2018, they joined BT as Head of Strategy, Ventures on a fixed-term contract, and in 2021 they became Head of Product at Sitenna.

Tom Newman has an MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge and a BSc in Economics from the University of Southampton. Tom has also obtained certifications in Logic for Economists from UvA (November 2021), Statistical Learning from Stanford Online (June 2021), A Crash Course in Causality: Inferring Causal Effects from Observational Data from the University of Pennsylvania (January 2021), Advanced Valuation and Strategy - M&A, Private Equity, and Venture Capital from Erasmus University Rotterdam (July 2019), and Financing and Investing in Infrastructure from Università Bocconi (June 2019).
