Ani Bhat

Ani Bhat has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. They began their career as an Associate Attorney at Coolidge Wall Co., L.P.A. in 2001, where they advised clients on technology matters and worked on M&A transactions.

In 2007, they joined Welmedix Consumer Healthcare as the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. They played a crucial role in guiding the company through national product launches and business pivots, eventually leading to the sale of their first aid and suncare brands. At Welmedix, Ani also served as the COO, overseeing manufacturing, technical operations, quality assurance, and new product development.

Ani then moved on to HealthEC in 2018, taking on the role of General Counsel, Compliance Officer, and Secretary. As a member of the senior leadership team, they led the legal and compliance functions while driving business transformation and growth initiatives. HealthEC is a healthcare technology company focused on value-based care.

In 2021, Ani joined TechGC as a Charter Member, further expanding their expertise in the legal and technology sectors.

Most recently, Ani joined SiteRx in 2022 as the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. This position allows them to utilize their skills and experience in legal and compliance matters.

Throughout their career, Ani has demonstrated a strong ability to navigate complex legal and business challenges, lead strategic initiatives, and provide valuable counsel to senior management teams.

Ani Bhat holds a Juris Doctor degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, which was obtained in 2001. Prior to that, they completed an Arts Baccalaureate degree in English from the University of Michigan in 1997. In terms of additional certifications, Ani Bhat is a Certified Information Privacy Professional - United States (CIPP/US), which they obtained from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals in September 2018. Ani is also a Licensed Attorney, authorized by the Supreme Court of Ohio in September 2001.
