Ahmad J.

Ahmad J. has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Information Security and Technology at Sitetracker, where they focus on strategic decisions and implementation of information security programs. Ahmad also coaches and develops a cross-functional team of IT and security analysts. Ahmad is also involved with CyberSecurity Non-Profit (CSNP) as the Austin Chapter President.

Prior to their current roles, Ahmad worked at Ceribell, Inc as a Senior Manager of Information Security Operations, where they established a strong security posture and ensured compliance with standards and regulations. Ahmad strategized and implemented a complete security policy and procedure handbook.

Before that, Ahmad worked at Axcient as an IT Security Operations Manager, leading a team through a cloud transition and establishing an IT Help Desk and operational infrastructure. Ahmad also managed the technology and asset lifecycle.

Ahmad's earlier roles include IT Manager at Stanford University School of Medicine, Senior Support Supervisor at Los Medanos College, and Senior Technical Support Analyst at Business Wire.

Ahmad J. holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems, which they obtained from Baruch College between 1999 and 2002. In 2013, they earned a CompTIA Security + certification in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance. Additionally, Ahmad has obtained several certifications, including the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in May 2021, the CompTIA Security + certification in 2013, the CompTIA A+ Certification in 2000, and the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA in January 2020.
