Mark Newton

Mark Newton has a diverse work experience in the energy and utilities industry. Mark started their career as a Sales Manager at Kyocera Solar in 2005 and then held various sales and business development roles at companies like Suntech America, Idealab, TSMC Solar North America, Ampt LLC, and SunEdison. In 2013, they joined Bidgely Inc. as the Senior Director of Utility Software Sales for the US and Canada. In 2018, they joined Franklin Energy as the Sr. Director of Software Sales. In 2020, they became the Regional Vice President of Sales at GridX Inc. Currently, they are the Sales Director for Energy and Utilities at Sitetracker, a global standard in Deployment Operations Management software.

Mark Newton holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marketing from Miami University. Mark has also completed the Energy Service Professional - Selling Energy 5-day Sales Training bootcamp offered by Selling Energy. Prior to these qualifications, Mark obtained their High School Diploma from Severna Park Senior High School.
