Rick Ducey

Rick Ducey is the managing director of BIA Advisory Services, where they assist clients with strategy consulting and project implementation across various divisions. They co-founded and led SpectraRep, a technology company known for developing an Internet Protocol-based public alert system used by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Rick has held senior roles at the National Association of Broadcasters and is an adjunct faculty member at George Washington University, teaching entrepreneurship in digital media. With a strong focus on disruptive technologies and media trends, Rick has consulted for major companies such as Google and Microsoft and has published over sixty scholarly and industry articles. They hold a Ph.D. from Michigan State University and also engage in scuba diving and whitewater kayaking.
