Anthony Broom

Anthony Broom has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Anthony is currently working as a Technical Solutions Architect at Sitscape since November 2022. Prior to this, Anthony served as the Manager of Data Architecture and then as the Director of Data Architecture at Andromeda Systems Incorporated from February 2021 to November 2021. In these roles, they led database, architecture, and business intelligence teams, developed dashboards and reports using Tableau and other tools, and ensured data architecture aligned with requirements.

Before joining Andromeda Systems Incorporated, Anthony worked at GTE Financial as a Software Developer - Business Intelligence where they optimized SSIS ETL operations and upgraded existing SSIS packages. Anthony also worked as a Financial BI Developer at Holland & Knight LLP, where they developed stored procedures and maintained databases for reporting purposes.

Earlier in their career, Anthony was the Manager of Business Intelligence and Data at Step Up For Students, where they led the development of enterprise data warehouse and business intelligence systems using Microsoft BI stack. Anthony also served as a Database Administrator/SQL Developer at the same organization.

Anthony started their career at Core Computing Solutions, Inc. as a Senior Engineer, where they served as the primary database administrator and worked on optimizing report libraries. Anthony also worked as an Intern - Operations Research at CSX, where they created stored procedures and developed web-based applications.

Before joining the private sector, Anthony held multiple roles at the Florida Department of Transportation, including Statewide Emergency Coordinating Officer, Alternate Emergency Coordination Officer, Senior Information Technology (IT) Auditor, Maintenance Management Systems Manager, and Distributed Computer Analyst.

Anthony Broom's education history includes three degrees. Anthony earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Florida State University from 2004 to 2008. Anthony then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Computing and Information Sciences with a concentration in Computer Security Administration at the University of North Florida from 2012 to 2013. Recently, they completed a Master's degree in Information Technology at the University of West Florida from 2021 to 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Anthony Broom has obtained various certifications throughout their career. Some of these certifications include the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) in Data Management and Analytics, Business Intelligence, and Data Platform, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) on SQL Server 2012/2014, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and CompTIA Security+ ce, Network+ ce, and A+ ce certifications. Anthony also holds the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) on Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and Microsoft Certified Database Administrator on Microsoft SQL Server 2000 certifications.
