Michael Waskiewicz

Michael Waskiewicz currently serves as the Head of Middle Office at Six One Commodities, a position held since September 2022. Prior to this role, Michael was at Hartree Partners from October 2016 to September 2022, progressing from Power and Gas PnL Associate to Middle Office Manager for US Power & Gas, where responsibilities included publishing daily PnL, liaising with internal stakeholders, and monitoring settlements. Michael’s earlier experience at Morgan Stanley as an ISG Product Operations Associate involved supporting the North American Power and Gas trading desk and resolving trade booking discrepancies. Michael's career began as a Caddy at Winged Foot Golf Club and included internships in marketing and clerical roles, alongside participation in a career mentorship program at RBC Capital Markets. Michael holds a BA in General Business from Loyola University Maryland and has also studied at Monash University.
