Ryan Parker has a diverse and extensive work experience. Ryan currently serves as the Chief Legal Officer at SixFifty HQ since January 2020. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Counsel at the National Counterintelligence and Security Center from June 2019 to January 2020. From June 2018 to June 2019, they held the position of Chief of Litigation in the Office of General Counsel at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

Before joining the public sector, Ryan gained valuable experience in the legal field. Ryan worked as a Senior Trial Counsel in the Civil Division at the U.S. Department of Justice from September 2017 to June 2018. Prior to that, they held the position of Trial Attorney in the same division from August 2009 to September 2017.

Ryan's legal career began in 2008 when they served as a Law Clerk at the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Ryan also gained experience as a Law Clerk at the United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan from August 2007 to August 2008. At the beginning of their career, Ryan worked as an Attorney at Workman Nydegger from March 2007 to August 2007.

Ryan Parker attended Brigham Young University–Hawaii for their undergraduate studies. Afterward, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English and French, graduating cum laude from the University of Utah in 2003. Following their undergraduate studies, Ryan attended the University of Michigan Law School from 2004 to 2006, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree, also graduating cum laude.
