John Mitchell

John Mitchell has worked for three companies throughout their career. John began at Penn State University in 2014, where they held the roles of Teaching Assistant, Server Room Supervisor, and Research Assistant. In 2016, they moved to Deloitte, where they worked as a Senior Consultant and a Cyber Security Consultant. Most recently, in 2020, they joined SIXGEN as an Offensive Cyber Operator.

John Mitchell obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Security and Risk Analysis from Penn State Altoona between 2012 and 2016. John also attended Bangor Area High School from 2006 to 2012. In 2014, they completed a RCR Course for Engineers from the CITI Program and in 2017, they obtained a Certified Network Penetration Tester (GPEN) from GIAC Certifications.
