In 2015, they worked as an Adversary Emulation Expert for KEYW Corporation and as a Cyber Exercise Engineer for Constellation West. In 2016, they worked as a Cyber Operator for SIXGEN and as a Cyber Exercise Engineer for WraySec. In 2018, they became an Adjunct Professor for Capitol Technology University.
Nathan Wray obtained their High School Diploma from Sollers Point Technical High School in 2009. Nathan then attended Capitol Technology University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering in 2013, a Master of Science in Information Assurance in 2015, a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Information Assurance Adminsitration in 2015, and a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Network Protection in 2015. Nathan went on to complete their Doctor of Science in Cybersecurity from Capitol Technology University in 2018. In addition to their degrees, Nathan Wray has obtained several certifications, including a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in 2021, a CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) ce from CompTIA in 2018, a CompTIA PenTest+ from CompTIA in 2020, a CompTIA Security ce from CompTIA in 2013, a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council in 2020, an AccessData Mobile Examiner (AME) in 2014, an AccessData Certified Examiner (ACE) in 2013, and a Cisco Certified Networking Associate from Cisco in 2008.
