Shawn Devroude

EVP of Cyber at Sixgen

Shawn is the Executive Vice President of Cyber. He is responsible for directing the cyber operations, managing the executive client relationships, developing the strategic goals, and identifying business opportunities that would maximize the performance and value to the clients.

Shawn recently retired from the FBI as the Deputy Assistant Director of the Cyber Division after a highly accomplished 20-year career. In his executive leadership roles in the FBI, Shawn forged joint partnerships and operations with USIC and foreign intelligence partners and led high-risk clandestine counterterrorism, counterintelligence and cyber operations and platforms targeting the most formidable and sophisticated nation-state adversaries. Shawn directed the world-wide deployments of the FBI’s prestigious Cyber Action Team (CAT), implemented the development of innovative technical tools, platforms and capabilities for cyber operations, and designed and managed all cyber‐related training, recruiting, hiring, and budgeting for the division. Shawn also led the Clandestine Operations Section in the FBI’s China Operations Branch wherein he designed prolific joint USIC operations and pioneered the FBI’s close access and active computer network exploitation operations against national security targets utilizing the FBI’s FISA authorities.

Before joining the Bureau, Shawn was a prosecutor for the Delaware Department of Justice. Shawn received his Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Pre-Law from the University of Delaware, a master’s in business administration (MBA) in international business from Drexel University Lebow School of Business, and a Juris Doctor (JD) in corporate law from Widener University School of Law.
