Khaled Basbous

Khaled Basbous is a software engineer specializing in cloud technology, currently serving as the lead developer on the Nuvla.io edge to cloud platform at SixSq since May 2015. Prior to this role, Khaled Basbous worked as a research assistant at HES-SO from September 2012 to May 2015, focusing on the automated distribution of calculations for various scientific applications across cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and OpenStack, as well as contributing to decision support applications and student laboratory development. Earlier experience includes an internship at BNP Paribas in early 2005, where Khaled Basbous was involved in software qualification for the bank’s investment financing contracts. Khaled Basbous holds a Master's degree in Information and Communication Technologies from HES-SO and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from HEPIA, complemented by a diploma in Management Information Systems from ESIG.
